Município de Caetanópolis participa de reunião sobre o fim dos lixões
A administração municipal de Caetanópolis participou de uma importante reunião na Associação dos Municípios da Micro Região Médio Rio das Velhas (AMEV), realizada em Corinto-MG, no dia 19 de outubro último, onde foi tratado sobre o fim dos lixões.
De acordo com a legislação, os lixões devem ser substituídos por aterros sanitários, que por sua vez, devem ser ecologicamente corretos, proporcionando a reciclagem devida, assim como o correto descarte do lixo não aproveitável.
Adequando-se à legislação, Caetanópolis fará parte de um “consórcio municipal” com os municípios de Araçaí, Cordisburgo e Paraopeba. Nesse sentido, deverá ser criado um único aterro sanitário para os quatro municípios, na vizinha cidade de Paraopeba, proporcionando o devido fim ao lixo não reutilizável.
Para a administração municipal de Caetanópolis, o Consórcio é a melhor solução encontrada, já que o aterro sanitário é economicamente inviável para cada um desses municípios separadamente.
