Caetanópolis é a primeira cidade de Minas Gerais a adotar faixa de pedestre em terceira dimensão (3D). A primeira faixa do estado e da cidade foi feita em frente ao Colégio Cenecista Bernardo Mascarenhas, próximo à Igreja Matriz de Santo Antônio. De acordo com o diretor municipal de Comunicação, Fábio Matos, essa é a primeira marcação de faixa de pedestres em 3 D, dentre outras que poderão ser feitas na cidade.
Em Caetanópolis, a faixa foi pintada pelo servidor público e vereador Vagner Simões, “Guiné” e também pelo servidor Wagner Ribeiro. No Brasil, a primeira cidade a pintar faixas de pedestres em 3 D para chamar a atenção dos motoristas é Primavera do Leste, a 240 quilômetros de Cuiabá, no Mato Grosso.
Nessa cidade, a prefeitura se inspirou nas faixas de pedestres usadas na China, Índia e Islândia e encomendou o serviço a um especialista em cores, formas e profundidade: Babu 78, grafiteiro, artista acostumado com as tintas, misturou branco, preto e cinza para dar o efeito. É como se as faixas estivessem flutuando sobre a rua. “Esse aqui é o objeto principal que dá a sensação da perspectiva”, explicou o artista.
Isso acontece porque nossos olhos têm, em média, seis centímetros de distância entre um e outro. Ao olhar para alguma coisa, os dois raios de visão convergem para o mesmo ponto. As duas imagens se juntam em uma só e está criada a sensação da profundidade.
“Acabam diminuindo a velocidade não só pela expectativa da faixa, mas pela expectativa de ver algo diferente”, disse o grafiteiro.
Outra cidade brasileira adotou a iniciativa
Também Cruzeiro do Sul, no estado do Acre, adotou a iniciativa. O órgão escolheu três locais de muita circulação para experimentar a ideia. O objetivo, segundo o órgão, é dar maior visibilidade às faixas, o que deve garantir mais segurança aos pedestres. Os locais escolhidos foram uma avenida na escola Cristão Cruzeiro, outra próxima a uma creche e outra em frente a Catedral no centro da cidade.
O chefe da Ciretran, Valdeci Dantas, diz que a medida deve despertar os motoristas para um trânsito mais seguro. “Essa faixa em 3D cria um impacto visual maior. Isso deve alertar mais o condutor em relação a existência da faixa de pedestres nestes locais. Queremos que o condutor tenha um sentido de alerta em relação a faixa”, diz.
