Presidente da Câmara propõe fim da verba de gabinete em Sete Lagoas
Segundo a Casa, a economia poderá ser de R$ 144.500,00 por mês

Foi apresentado na tarde desta terça-feira (21) o Projeto de Resolução nº 28/2017 que extingue a verba indenizatória a que cada vereador tem direito por mês na Câmara Municipal de Sete Lagoas. A matéria é de autoria do presidente Cláudio Caramelo (PRB) e da Mesa Diretora. Caso a proposta seja aprovada, será o fim da chamada verba de gabinete, hoje fixada em R$ 2.500,00 mensais para cada gabinete. São 17 parlamentares.
Segundo o Megacidade.com apurou, todas as normas serão revogadas se os vereadores aprovarem o Projeto de Resolução nº 28/2017. Antes de ir a debate e votação no Plenário da Casa, a matéria será analisada pela Comissão de Legislação e Justiça (CLJ), pela Comissão de Fiscalização Financeira, Orçamentária e de Tomada de Contas e, por último, pela Comissão de Administração Pública. Com os pareceres das comissões permanentes, o Projeto de Resolução vai a Plenário.
Uma fonte ouvida pela reportagem do Megacidade.com estima que a votação da matéria deverá ser antes do dia 22 de dezembro de 2017, data em que começa o recesso parlamentar. Ou seja, a partir daí não haverá mais verba indenizatória.
Motivação – Com a redução da verba indenizatória de R$ 8.500,00 para os atuais R$ 2.500,00, a Câmara Municipal economiza, por mês, R$ 30 mil. Se considerar o valor total que dispensava para todos os 17 gabinetes, a economia total chega a R$ 144.500,00 mensais. Se a conta levar em consideração o valor atualmente gasto com a verba – R $ 2.500,00 por mês – a economia é de R$ 30 mil mensais.
Segundo a fonte ouvida pelo Megacidade.com, a motivação do presidente da Câmara Municipal, vereador Cláudio Caramelo e dos demais vereadores da Mesa Diretora da Casa Legislativa é dar continuidade ao trabalho de economia e eficiência que já estava sendo adotado. O fim da verba indenizatória é mais um passo neste sentido, além de atender aos “´princípios da eficiência, publicidade e moralidade”, previstos no artigo 37 da Constituição Federal. “É uma questão de transparência e moralidade”, afirma a fonte.
Despesas – Todas as despesas hoje pagas com os recursos da verba indenizatória serão cobertas pela Câmara Municipal de Sete Lagoas. Hoje, a Casa já mantém serviços como compra de combustível, locação de veículos, aquisição de água mineral, material de escritório e de informática.
Caso a nova resolução seja aprovada, serviços de consultoria, por exemplo, terão que ser pagos pelos próprios vereadores, a não ser que a própria Câmara Municipal disponha de corpo técnico para atender a demanda dos vereadores. “Tudo o que for necessário para o exercício da atividade parlamentar será assegurado pela Câmara. É mais eficiente assim”, finaliza a fonte.
